Our Family is COMPLETE!

The first of MANY playdates!!!
It's amazing how much changes in 8 years! My good friends from high school and I all got together for the first time with our kids and boy was it CRAZY! We had Brittany's daughter, Jules 5, Maddie 2, Kaitlyn, Lori's oldest, Skylar 1, her youngest, Ayden, and Pamela's only child, Leila! Pamela's baby girl was 10 days older than Lori's baby boy, and he was 18 days older than Kaitlyn!
These pics are of Lori, her baby, Skylar, her brother, Adam, Maddie, and I, while we were waiting for Warren and Shane to make it to the car. The 3 of us decided that we would take a chance on running to the car which was FAR away, in the lightning storm. We finally made and were soooooooo glad to be alive! We left Shane and Warren on the beach packing up the tent and everything else. We all PILED into Shane's trooper long enough to get Lori, Adam, and Skylar to their car on the other side of the beach. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!

These pics were taken during a REALLY BAD storm that popped up out of NOWHERE! It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced! There's nothing like being trapped on the beach in a tent with millions of people in the middle of a lightning storm with NO SHELTER to run to. Not to mention, I had Maddie and Lori had Skylar. The kids were screaming and crying and we were about to cry too. Sooooooooo glad it's over and I'll NEVER do it again! Four people were struck by lightning this day.

4th Of July 2008
Maddie and I spent the morning with some friends at the beach. Later that afternoon, Shane and I took the girls to Seville Square to enjoy all of the activities going on there!
